Today is a great day to take a break from the keyboard, to put down the book on story structure, and to step away from whatever posts you are writing or whatever characters you are trying to develop (in fact I wrote this two days ago, so I’m probably asleep in a chair right now as my child dances around me with her new gadgets and gizmos, which is okay, because that means I’m with my family and away from writing even if I’m taking a catnap).
Hopefully you are all getting some much needed rest during this hectic season and hectic year, which really seemed horrific and endless (then again, what is a nightmare dreamscape if nobody is there to live it?). Anyway, enjoy your holiday and the time you have off with your family…you all deserve it!
