The smell of semi-new books and the witchy season

Okay, I actually didn’t smell them because that’s a little gross to me (to each their own), but the weather here in Michigan took a dip below 70 degrees and I immediately felt fall on the wind, so I bought two books by Ray Bradbury that I have been meaning to buy for many a year now: The October Country (1955) and The Halloween Tree (1972).

Not much to say about them, but I can’t wait to read them, and, boy! I can smell the crunchy, dead leaves and taste the warm cider already!
