Literary reads and recommendations for October

Greetings! Today I have a short post about a few podcasts, a book, and an album that I’ve either read or listened to as of late that I think would be beneficial to budding writers; and, for that matter, anybody who loves the craft of writing!

Recommendations

  1. Lore (Podcast)— A podcast that focuses on folklore, ghost stories, and historical accounts of supernatural phenomena.
  2. Horror Stories Podcast–Host Robert Crandall reads horror stories from a plethora of famous authors such as H.P. Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe.
  3. Tales of Mystery and Imagination by Edgar Allen Poe–An excellent (and famous) collection of stories from author Edgar Allan Poe. Great for this time of the year!
  4. Tales of Mystery and Imagination (Alan Parsons Project album)–A beyond awesome album by the Alan Parsons Project that features stories and snippets from Poe.

That’s all I have for now, but please comment your recommended October/Horror stories, podcasts, or albums. I would love to check them out!
