Books on fairy tales, myths, and lore

I subconsciously bought books related to mythology, lore, and fairy tales because I guess that has been what’s on my mind. As an avid short story reader and writer, these types of books fit right within the niche of writing that I enjoy so much.

Myths and Symbols in Pagan Europe is an academic read that really looks to dig into the finer points of Celtic mythology.

Weird Michigan is near and dear to me as I live and breath in the Great Lakes State, and there are a lot of odd stories in this region–including the infamous Dogman.

Irish Fairy Tales deals with just that–fairy tales from Ireland. Of course, the Irish put their own spins on classic stories and this book also provides some of the original stories that have come from Eire.
